Arabella's 9th Birthday Party - November 2017

Arabella thought at first that she wanted to do a rock climbing party but then she joined the karaoke club at school. She was loving it and so we suggested that she have a karaoke party instead.  She agreed and we were thrilled and decided to surprise her by getting our family a karaoke machine.

We held this party at the church so that we could have plenty of room for singing, dancing, and playing around.
We set up Just Dance on our Wii as well- it was as big of a hit if not bigger than the karaoke.
Peter made this awesome giant microphone cake.  The head of the microphone is a giant cookie and the handle is homemade marshmallow covered in caramel and chocolate.
A whole bunch of crazy party girls!

She had a fantastic day and loved every minute of the party.
We were happy to celebrate her and all of the kindness that she possesses.
I don't honestly know what exactly this game was that they were playing but it was too perfect a moment not to capture. I think they called it something crab walk or race. Jon would assume a deep squat and get his arms up and move with some impressive speed.
