Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas and Santa definitely came to our house. We spent the whole day playing, playing, and playing some more. Joey received a new Thomas the Tank Engine track called action canyon and transformers and some cool magnetic building shapes (Magformers). Joey got a toy shotgun from his aunt and uncle and some jets that you can launch by stomping a this foot pedal thing. Jon got a basketball hoop and made his first basket, first try. He also got smash and crash race track that was well loved. He was very upset when his car did not "break" (see video). He also received some new tools and building blocks. Arabella was given soft doll and her first purse (it is a toy one of course). She also got wipes, clothes, and some rattle like toys and things you can hang from the car seat handle. Peter enjoyed getting some work table like things for his tools and new hiking boots. I was given an iron, blow dryer, jewelry, new kitchen rugs and pillows for my couches. We had a great day and look forward to doing some more relaxing and enjoying this weekend. We are sad that we are not with family this holiday but enjoyed talking with them today! We love you all and hope you enjoy these pictures from our Christmas! (As I am still learning how to do this blog thing, the pictures will probably seem to be in a bizarre order.)

Victory!

I am doing a dance of joy, just use your imagination! Also, please ignore the posting made one minute before my "first posting" that is nothing more than a time stamp. We can't always achieve perfection on our first try!

A Computer Breakthrough

As Peter and I were reading through all of the fun Christmas cards and letters we received last night, I commented that we really needed to get our blog going. He set up a blog and web page a few months ago but we have not posted anything on our blog. He then pointed out that it was usually the wife that managed the blog and I reminded him that in so many ways I am computer illiterate. But as final goal for this year of 2008, I am going to master this blog thing! So if this posting makes it onto the world wide web, I will feel victorious. More to come if I have succeeded?!
