We were sad to leave Nauvoo and the rich history and fun experiences we had there but it was time to go. We said our good byes to family and then stopped by the temple and took a few pictures (the timing was obviously not great due to the sun placement).
I love this statue and the love, faith, trust, and loyalty that existed between these two brothers.
We drove to St. Louis and stopped at the awesome science center. It was a needed break from driving and to just play.
We continued driving that night to Springfield, Missouri. It was a long day but it was good to be together as a family and so good to be making memories that I hope my children remember for a lifetime.
