April: BYU Alumni Run, Art show, Orchestra Competition, and Millennial Choir Concert

April 14 proved to be a very busy but good day!
Peter, Joseph, Arabella, and I ran in the BYU Alumni 5k and it was a windy and freezing (almost literally) cold morning. We were really glad to have grabbed some extra blankets and that we each had jackets but wished we had coats.

Arabella had a rough time finishing but she did it! So proud of her!

I actually earned a medal too- I took first place in my age group!
Then we stopped at the MCL Grand Theater School District Art show to see Arabella's rainbow hamster sculpture while it was still on display.

Then, Joseph played in his UIL competition and he earned a Superior rating. So proud of him!

And then Peter and I enjoyed a marvelous 2 1/2 hour long choir concert! It was the Millennial Choir and they were wonderful! The concert felt a little long but it was mostly because we had been awake for so very long and it had been a busy day! We hope to take some of our kids to their Christmas concert.
