One weekend a month I lose my husband to this group of people.
These are his scouts and assistant scoutmaster.
Peter has a few more and there are a few more about to come into his troop but these have been his standard boys for the last year.
It is hard for a wife to compete with such activities as sawing logs,
or throwing knives (as demonstrated by our Young Men's president)
or slicing pumpkins with swords
or shooting bows and arrows.
He teaches boys to build a shelter they can sleep in and not freeze to death
and they teach him to laugh when gravity works.
I am glad I get to share my husband with these boys.
They are good boys and my boys think they are amazing.
I am thankful for the example.
