Adventures with the Thalman's Part 1

My sister Carla and her family came to visit and we had a great time!!
They arrived later Thursday evening.
Friday we hung out around the house and Joey shot his new BB gun.
For the evening we headed to downtown Dallas. We saw the John F. Kennady memorial.

That is the building the shots came from.
The road behind the kids is the road Kennady was on when he died.

After that, we went to Twisted Root Burgers to eat.  It was yummy!
Then we headed to Dallas Fair Park to see the Chinese Lantern Festival.
It was amazing! We loved it and it was totally worth the cold temperatures.

The above 3 pictures are of a really long dragon made of china plates, cups and spoons.
Mermaid and ocean scene.
Carla, Tyler, and Luke in front of a temple.
This one frame has over 10,000 welds and took 40 days to make.

This was the bug and ant section.

 I loved these blue flowers.

This picture of the Thalman's turned out blurry but my camera died as I tried to take another picture and so this was what we got.
It was a great day and beautiful evening!
