February started out with Jon bringing home a robo-baby for his skills for living class. He had to care for the baby for 24 hours. He had her all day during school and then the afternoon, evening and the night. If the baby cried he had a certain amount of time in which he had to scan a bracelet her wore across the baby's chest, where a sensor would read it, and then he had to address the baby's needs to sooth it and make it stop crying. She did not really want to go to sleep at first but settled down around 10 and woke up once during the night and again at 6 am which was not so bad. He did really well and only missed one point. Way to go Jon! He has always loved babies and I knew he would do really well on this the whole time. He will be a great father one day! I look forward to the day I get to see that come to pass.
Peter has been continued his association with scouting by serving on our local district committee as the Camping chair. He is involved with camporee, cub camp, and weblos woods. The theme for the upcoming camporee is Scouts of the Round Table. The man that is in charge thought it would be really funny for the different leaders to be different medieval "leaders" such as king, knight and an archbishop (Peter). The scouts will all be squires. Check out the amazing costume Peter gets to wear. He wore it to a roundtable meeting to make an invitation to the local leaders of the troops and I had 3-4 different people send me pictures laughing and asking what was going on. He loves scouting and I love him for loving scouting and remaining involved even though it is not his calling.
Samantha took her turn being sick for a day or two.
And Arabella had her 3rd Grade Music Program and it was 70's themed.
She was so excited to dress up and perform the fun songs they learned.
