Disney Device 1 Day 5

Okay, so this is not Disneyland but it was our last day of vacation.
We were a bit worried about the weather leading up to our trip but this day was perfect!
Sun, Sand, and Sea!
Samantha taking life vests to the kids- safety first!

The pictures speak for themselves. I think we could have easily spent another few hours and nobody would have complained. You can not quite tell but there is a dot in the middle of the wave and that is Peter's head as he body surfs! He has skill!
This was such a great trip. We all needed some time away and time together as a family. I feel so blessed that we were able to take this trip.

Disney Device 1 Day 4

Oh the Carousel! I have ridden on this with each of my little kids and now it was Samantha's turn!

I am not certain why I don't have as many pictures from this day but I don't.
This kept a number of people entertained in line for Pirates of the Caribbean. Yes, she is asleep on his head! She slept like this for about 20 minutes.
 We are spooky aren't we!

We failed to get a picture in front of the castle during the daylight and then it was roped off for the fireworks so this was the best we could do.
It was really beautiful all decorated for the 60th anniversary.
And finally, it is tradition, for our family at least, to have a picture at the front flower beds with a child asleep in the stroller- seriously I am quite certain we have one with Joseph as a baby asleep.
We loved our days in Disneyland and look forward to another magical trip in a few years.

Disney Device 1 Day 3

This day started out with weather warnings, wind gusts, hail, pouring rain- you get the picture.
We were going to go early but instead waited for some of the major weather to pass.
Once we got there, it turned into a lovely day.
I even had the opportunity to ride a ride twice in a row because we were the only ones on it.
It was quite chilly but we had so much fun!

You have to look close but Lily and Grandma Bird are both laughing so beautifully in this moment!

Waiting in line to meet the Frozen characters.

Grandpa Bird had my kids flocking to him when he pulled out Oreos!
She was so into this parade.

Notice the jackets and hoods- it was cold! But this sweet Super Dad needed ice cream! I love him!
Love the World of Color show!

Disney from Device 1 Day 2

Sunday morning we headed to a local ward which was delightful!
My parents ran into a missionary that was in their branch at the MTC.
Then we ate at a local Mexican restaurant (pics on another device) which was delicious!
We then headed to the La Brea Tar Pits. It was totally worth the drive.

We have this same picture from 3 1/2 years ago when we went. See here.
 Giant Jaguar

 Arabella took these photos!

We don't always get pictures of us together but this is a good one.

Disney from Device 1 Day 1

With cell phone cameras, our usual camera and then my parents annual pass acts as a photo pass so that you can get any of the photos the Disney photographers take, so we have tons of photos in different places.
I decided to post by device and day. Enjoy the magic!
1st Princess moments after we walked in!
The whole fam with a few extras!

Dumbo and the teacups- you can't beat the classics!

Thunder Mountain was the kids favorite ride in Disneyland!

All but Samantha in one log- we loved Splash Mountain!
We staked out our seats for the parade early.

It's a Small World- the boys did not think it would be fun so they hung out with G and G Bird.

 The parade was amazing!

Good night from Mickey!
